Natural homemade products for hair.


Please make sure you are not allergic to the product(s) you want to use.


Cleanser:-

Egg, Lemon,Baking Soda and Olive Oil Shampoo:-
This is my favorite homemade shampoo!!

Eggs, baking soda, lemon juice and olive oil do mix more than well and doing so will produce a moisturizing shampoo good for all hair types. Oh, and no need to go shopping for any special ingredients because I’m sure you already have everything needed to make this cool natural homemade shampoo!
Method :-Beat 2 two eggs well before 3 tsps of baking soda, 2 tsps of olive oil and 2 tsps of lemon juice then continue to stir until your mixture is nice and smooth. Apply it on your scalp giving it a gentle scrub then rinse thoroughly



 



Baking Soda:-
Method:- Make a paste of Baking Soda by adding a small amount of water to 2 Tbsps of Baking Soda. Massage on scalp and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with water and shampoo.









Conditioning:-

Avocado:-
Method:- Mush a soft ripe avocado in a bowl, massage into damp hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water then shampoo.
Add 1/2 Tbsp of Mayonnaise to Avocado to boost the moisturizing power.
Use this as often as you like.






Honey,Olive Oil and Avocado:-
Method:- Place 1/4 cup of honey, 1 Tbsps of Olive Oil and 1 Tbsps of mushed Avocado, mix well and apply the mixture to damp hair. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water.
Use this twice a month for very dry hair and then cut down to once a month.







Yoghurt:-
Method:- Apply 1/4 cup of yoghurt directly to damp hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water.
Use this twice a month.









Mayonnaise:-
Method:- Apply 1/4 cup of mayonnaise (any kind of mayo) directly to damp hair cover with shower cap. Leave it on for 45 minutes and wash off with warm water.

Use this once a week.








Egg Yolk and Olive Oil:-
Method:- Separate the yolk from the whites, mix the yolks with 2 Tbsps of olive oil well, add 1/2 cup of water. Massage the mixture slowly on scalp and cover with shower cap. Leave it on for 45 minutes and rinse off. You can shampoo if you want to but you don't have to.
Use this twice a month.







 Dandruff or Itchy Dry Scalp treatment:-

Apple Cider Vinegar rinse:-
Method:- Mix 1 cup of Apple cider vinegar and 2 cups of warm water and use to rinse your hair after you shampoo.







Aloe Vera:-
Method:- Cut an Aloe Vera leaf from plant, wash the leaf and place it on a clean board. Cut off the thorny sides, slice the leaf into half and cut it into smaller easily manageable parts. Take the slices and rub on to scalp. Leave it on overnight and wash hair in the morning.





Lemon juice and Olive oil:-
Method :- Mix 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2Tbsp olive oil and 2 Tbsp water, and massage into damp scalp to stimulate.
Wrap in a warm, damp towel and let mixture sit for 20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo hair.








Aspirin:-

Method:-Crush three Aspirins to a fine powder,add it to your shampoo. Leave the mixture on your hair for 1-2 minutes, then rinse well .Shampoo hair again if needed before conditioning.










Hair Growth treatment:-


Castor Oil:-
Method 1:- Add Castor oil to your conditioner or mix with almond oil and massage into your scalp if you’re looking for an easy way to promote healthy hair growth.
(Use Method 1 daily or every other day depending on your hair type and texture)

Method 2:- Use the castor oil by itself, massage it into your scalp, and leave it overnight.
(If using Method 2,begin with weekly treatments)

Hair loss treatment:-

Castor Oil:-
Method :-Massage your scalp with castor oil and wash off after an hour.









Hair Color:-

Black tea/Coffee hair Dye:-
Method :- Boil 2 teaspoons of black tea or Coffee into 2 cups of water. Let the tea water cool,apply to hair making sure that every strand is covered. Rinse hair with cold water. Do not shampoo.









Henna Hair Dye:-
Method:-  Boil a little Coffee OR Tea (Tea for a lighter color), mix Henna Powder, Lemon Juice (OR Apple Cider Vinegar , I prefer ACV as it leaves my hair soft and shiny)with the coffee(/tea) to make a thick paste, cover the mixture and let it sit in a warm place for about 24 hours. Apply mixture to hair starting from the roots, cover with a shower cap and leave on for 3 hours or more, then wash henna off.







Coconut Oil and Lemon (use this to reverse Grey Hair):-
Method:- Mix 6 teaspoons of Coconut Oil and 3 teaspoons of Lemon Juice in a bowl. Apply Mixture on hair and scalp, leave on for 2 hours. Wash off with a mild shampoo.

Natural homemade products for acne

 Baking Soda facial wash:-
Method:- Take a little baking soda in the palm of your hand add a little water to make a soft paste, apply to face in a gentle rubbing motion for a few seconds and wash off with warm water.
My experience:- Left my face extremely dry and the breakouts increased.







Lemon toner:-
Method:- Dab a little lemon juice on cotton ball,rub it gently on face, do not rinse it.
My experience:- Left my face dry and itchy, didn't help with the breakouts.






Salt and Lemon:-
To get more drying power than just lemon juice.
Method:- Dissolve 1/2 a teaspoon of salt into 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, gently rub on the zit and leave it on










 Cinnamon and lemon paste:-
Method:- Make a paste of very fine ground cinnamon and lemon, apply the mixture to the affected area, let it dry and wash it off gently with warm water.
My experience:-This is a miracle worker for zits over night, remember to use it sparingly as using it frequently will dry your skin.




Aloe Vera:-
Method:- Cut an aloe vera leave at an angle, place on a counter and cut the thorns off, slice the leave into half, gently rub the slices on face and neck, you want to rub the gooey sticky stuff on skin.
My experience:- Am not sure if this worked as I traveled and don't have access to my garden and aloe vera. I'll restart the regimen when I get back home



Castor Oil:-
Method:- Wash face and rub (in a circular motion)a small amount of castor oil, leave it on overnight and wash off with warm water and a cleanser.
My experience:- I've been using this for a week and my face feels smooth and soft in the morning!!





  Honey:-
Method:-Simply apply to your clean face and let sit for 15 minutes.
Rinse with warm water.









Aspirin Face Pack for Acne-prone Oily Skin:-
This is the best home remedy for curing acne instantly.
Aspirin is an active ingredient in many acne curing products available in the market.
Try this face pack for immediate results. (DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN)

Method:- Crush and make the powder of 5-6 aspirin tablets and add water a few drops at a time to make a paste. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil. Cleanse your face and apply this pack all over the face, especially on the acne prone area. Keep for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
Use this face pack twice a week  for best and effective results.

Aspirin Face Pack for Acne-prone Dry Skin:-
Method: Crush and make the powder of 5-6 aspirin tablets and add water a few drops at a time to make a paste. To this paste,  add 1 teaspoon of organic honey and mix well to form the pack. Cleanse your face and apply this pack all over the face, especially on the acne prone area. Keep for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
You can also add a few drops of olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil if your skin is dry.


Garlic:-
Method :- Peel a clove of garlic, it on a clean plate and mush it using a fork or the flat surface of a butter knife.
Apply the mushed garlic on the zits and leave it on for 30 minutes then wash off with warm water.






Egg White:-
Method:- Separate the yolk from white, beat the white with a fork or whisk and dab it on the zits using a cotton ball or Q-tip. Leave it on overnight and wash off with warm water in the morning.






 


Lime and Egg white:-
Method:- Separate the yolk from white, beat /whisk the white very well add 1/2 a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the mixture on face and leave it on for 30 minutes then wash off with warm water.



 





Honey and Oatmeal mask:-
Method :- Add 3 Tablespoon of oats to 1 Tablespoon of boiling water stir well and let it cool, add 1 Tablespoon of honey and mix well. Apply the mixture on face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes (the longer you leave it on the harder it is to remove)
Wash off with warm water.







Yoghurt, Lemon and Honey mask :-
Method:- Mix 2 Tbs of plain yoghurt, 1 Tbs of lemon juice and 1 Tbs of honey in a bowl .Apply the mixture on face and leave it on for 30 minutes then wash off with warm water.









Fresh Mint Leaves and Honey mask:-
Method :- Mix fresh crushed mint leaves with warm honey and apply the mixture on face. Leave on for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water.



 







Banana Peel:-

Method:- Get a ripe banana, make sure the peel is not green but is yellow and black (which is when it's most effective).
Rub the peel on the face and leave it on overnight  or for at least 30 minutes before washing off with warm water.

Yeast and Lemon Spot Treatment:-


Method:-  Make a paste of a little bit of yeast, lemon juice and a dash of water.  Apply directly on the zit and leave on for 15 minutes. The wash it off. Keep the area covered with a bandage if possible.
